Snow!
This may seem a bit random, but... YAY, SNOW!

Okay it's not that much, but it's a lot more and a lot nicer than what we usually have here.
So we took the car and slithered our way to visit the horses and go riding in the winter forest. Now my strange, old horse is from Iceland and still seems to think it could be a little colder, but it's about as cold as it gets here and she really enjoyed it.

I love it. Who needs the summer anyway? :)

What a gorgeous picture! It looks like you've stepped out of a wintry storybook tale!!

The kids are squeeing over the horsie, so I'll just agree with Lilith, gorgeous picture! And all that snow, it's just not normal anymore, is it?! Global warming, pffffff.

Yay for squeeing kids. Happens all the time, probably because horsie is so colorful. :D
Yeah, global warming makes it hard to believe it exists at the moment. I'm usually one of those environmentalists, running around and trying to convince people that vegetarianism is good to prevent climate change and so on. But right now I'm laughed at more than ever. Which I understand, looking out of the window...

SQUEEE! I'm so proud of our eskimo hordes! Not only are they witty and clever and funny and pretty, no they're all trying to save the frigging planet, as well! The red couch really is the best place to be! Yay for crazy environmentalists! *takes a sip of organic apple juice*

HAI! How nice to have you here!
What? It's cold in California? Oh no, I thought it was warm there all year. *disappointed look*

*LOL* I always shock people with this revelation! I'm actually in San Francisco which happens to be (more often than not) cold and WINDY! For the most part Southern California (like Los Ageles -*Lucky Nina & movie stars*)is the only part in California that is warm most of the year!

ooooh ooooh btw,I need to cash in on your offer to help me translate something for my upcoming German Lessons Post..It's episode 822 at about 5:27 - the english line was "great enough for a kiss?" - My listening skills and tranlator got something like this: "groß genug für einen Kuss?" but I don't want to get it wrong. Help?

See, fandom is so useful! I would have never learned about the weather in California if it wasn't for you. I might have gone there someday to escape the winterly coldness and would have been so disappointed.. ;)

And you got that almost right... It's "Großartig genug für einen Kuss?" ("Großartig" means great, "groß" exists as well but it is rather something like big/tall). There, Gay Boys With Issues are also a healthy motivation for learning foreign languages. Wish I had known about them when I was starting to learn English. Looking forward to more of your entertaining German lessons! :D
