Okay, I haven't even left my house for 95% of the weekend and I'm still so incredibly sleep-deprived it's not even funny anymore. That actually says everything.

No Horde Left Behind was the most amazing thing ever! (Okay, next to GOOL itself, probably.)
So I really need to say this: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PUTTING THIS TOGETHER, SHELLY AND KATE, OMG! *capslocks madly*
Until I learned about NHLB, I was thinking this weekend would be, like, extremely unsparkly and I'd have to be really grumpy the whole time.
Instead there's this ****ing amazing thing. Marathoning with everyone even brightened the Dark Years. Everything was fun, really, Hordes even turn usually dull chatty smalltalk like "How did you get your nickname?", "Where are you from?", yadda yadda interesting. And I have about a dozen new friends on YT, LOL.
And when I went to bed yesterday - and I was really tired, mind - I couldn't even sleep but kept grinning like a lunatic.
So thank you, thank you, thank you, Hordes. You're the best fandom ever, I'm so glad to be a part of it!!! *noserubs all around*

Still, next time there'll be an event like that (and I was literally promised there would be!) I'm going to be there. Even if it probably means selling a kidney and my grandma. Everything comes with strings attached, after all.

I'm just so thrilled that you could come and have fun with us! I felt the exact same way about this weekend before NHLB came up--I had only planned to grumble and sadface a lot, but it turned out totally sparkily!

Certainly, BEST FANDOM EVER.
I had to explain several times in the last couple of days why I was so awfully tired (didn't really have a chance to catch up on sleep yet...) and tried to explain how great a storyline it is and go on and on about that and people were just like "You're crazy. Okay, you enjoy a show, that's great, but uhm... what's the point."
When I noticed they didn't get that, usually I would come up saying "BUT THE PEOPLE! You see, through this whole thing I now know people from the US and Canada and France and Denmark and the Netherlands and the UK and Australia and New Zealand and... and everyone is so genuinely nice and clever, funny, witty and just all around amazing. That's also what fandom is for me." That would usually shut people up. <3

I know I keep saying it everywhere, but man, I am so blown away by how fantastic NHLB turned out to be. Even I only had a vague-ish idea of what it would be like and Shelly completely surpassed herself. The few times I was able to check in, my jaw literally dropped at all the stuff that she and Kate had whipped up and how awesomely everyone was participating and contributing. Best fandom ever, no doubt about it whatsoever!

And HELLZ YEAH, you will be there next year!!!

Eeeep! That can't be said enough. Turned out to be such a wonderful weekend, when I thought I'd have nothing to do but sobbing, I can't thank Shelly enough...

Yep, I'll overcome my slight social anxiety and my strong fear of flying and follow you guys pretty much anywhere. Just needs to be 18+ next time or someone needs to provide me some contacts to get a fake ID. :D
